PHILOSOPHY OF DEVELOPMENT:
Covelop Inc. was founded in 2003 with the goal of developing and building high quality real estate projects throughout California’s Central Coast and beyond. Since then we evolved into a full-service real estate development company, managing the entire lifecycle of the development process: Investment, Acquisition, Development and Construction. Covelop has also grown geographically from its first project in a small coastal town in California to, now, its development and management projects in ten states. Our project list includes multifamily construction, repositioning and management, housing tract entitlement, as well as office and industrial development and management.

Damien Mavis

Damien Mavis graduated Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1999. In 2002 he co-founded Covelop Inc., a full-service real estate development firm. As the Covelop Principal, he manages both residential and commercial development projects from acquisition to disposition. With projects spanning several states, he navigates the complex regulatory and entitlement process before handing the projects over to his partner for construction. Following the Construction downturn he refocused and expanded into areas of property and asset management. Damien is now responsible for managing all classes of real estate assets in seven states.

Patrick Arnold

Patrick Arnold graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1999 and spent the next five years owning and operating various businesses in San Luis Obispo County. In 2004 he formed Arnold, Inc., providing consulting services for small businesses in areas of finance and product R&D. Through Arnold Inc., he also provided certified structural welding services to various construction entities.

In 2006 Patrick joined with Damien Mavis as CEO of Covelop, Inc. overseeing all financial aspects including property management, bid review process and construction management. He serves as the in-house broker and general contractor for Covelop, Inc.
